Has the PKL Season 13 Points Table Been Released?
No. As of October 8, 2026, Pro Kabaddi has not released the Season 13 fixture list, so there are no results or standings yet. The auction is reported for October 18-25, and the season is expected to start in late December. Both dates are reported, not official.

How the PKL Points Table Works
The PKL points table ranks all 12 teams across the league stage. Once you know what each column means, it takes seconds to read.

The Points System: 2 for a Win, 0 for a Loss
Since Season 12, the system is simple: a win earns 2 league points and a loss earns 0. There are no ties anymore. If a match ends level, it goes to a five-raid tie-breaker, and if that is also level, a Golden Raid decides it.

This is a big change from the first 11 seasons. Until Season 11, a win earned 5 points, a tie earned 3 for both teams, and a team losing by 7 points or fewer picked up 1 bonus point. PKL scrapped that system in 2025 to make the table easier to follow (official announcement). Season 13 is expected to keep the 2-0 system, but this has not been confirmed.

Why Score Difference Matters
When teams finish level on points, score difference separates them. Season 12 shows exactly why it matters. Puneri Paltan and Dabang Delhi K.C. both finished with 13 wins and 26 points, but Puneri topped the table because their score difference of +88 was well ahead of Delhi’s +38.
With only two possible results per match, teams end up level on points far more often than they used to. A team that wins narrowly every week can finish level with a team that wins big, and score difference is what splits them.

Season 12 Table Analysis
The Top of the Table
Puneri Paltan were the most consistent team over the 18 league matches, finishing first with 13 wins. Dabang Delhi K.C. matched that win total but finished second on score difference (+38 against Puneri’s +88). Delhi then won the title anyway, which is a good reminder that topping the table and winning the trophy are two different things.
Bengaluru Bulls had the best score difference in the whole league, +97, yet finished third with 11 wins. That tells you how the table works: wins come first, and score difference only matters when points are level.
The Crowded Middle
Positions four to eight were tightly packed. Telugu Titans, Haryana Steelers and U Mumba all finished on 20 points with 10 wins each, and score difference alone put them in that order (+45, +40 and +8).
Just below, Patna Pirates and Jaipur Pink Panthers both finished on 16 points with 8 wins. Patna’s +10 against Jaipur’s -48 kept them seventh. That one place mattered more than it looks: Patna went on to win three straight knockout games from there.
The Bottom of the Table
UP Yoddhas finished ninth, one place outside the playoffs, with 7 wins and a score difference of -65. Tamil Thalaivas, Gujarat Giants and Bengal Warriorz all finished on 12 points from 6 wins, separated only by score difference: -36, -73 and -104. Bengal’s -104 was the worst in the league, a sign of several heavy defeats rather than lots of close ones.
How the Points Table Decides the Playoffs
The table is not just a leaderboard. In Season 12’s eight-team format, final position decided where each team entered the playoffs, and how many games it had to win to reach the final.

How the PKL Points Table Has Changed Over the Years
The table you see today is quite different from the one fans followed in 2014.

The league grew from 8 to 12 teams in Season 5. Season 12 then made two big changes at once: a shorter league stage, cut from 22 matches per team to 18, and the switch to 2 points per win with no ties. With fewer outcomes possible, more teams now finish level on points, which is why score difference has become so important.
Reading the Table: A Real Example From Season 12
Look at seventh and eighth place in the final Season 12 table. Patna Pirates and Jaipur Pink Panthers both finished 8-10 with 16 points. On results alone, you could not separate them.
Score difference could. Patna scored 10 more points than they conceded over the whole league stage (+10). Jaipur conceded 48 more than they scored (-48). That 58-point gap is invisible if you only look at wins and points, but it tells you a lot.
It is also a useful hint for the new season. A team that scrapes into the playoffs with a big negative score difference, as Jaipur did, usually has more rebuilding to do than its final position suggests.
How the Table Shifts Through a Season
Early weeks: after two or three matches, the table can mislead you. A team with an easy opening schedule can sit above a stronger side that has played fewer games or tougher opponents.
Halfway point: after around nine matches each, the table starts to reflect each team’s real level. This is when most fans and pundits start talking seriously about title contenders.
Final round: with a few games left, it is all about permutations: who needs to win, by how much, and which other results they need to finish top two or stay in the top eight. Score difference often comes into play here, so even a heavy defeat in a lost game can cost a team its playoff place.
