Why the Season Moves Around the Calendar
PKL does not have a fixed month like the NFL or NBA. Season 12 ran from August to October 2025, while Season 13 is reported for a late-December start. The timing depends on the player auction, international tournaments and broadcast deals, which is why US fans see very different local start times from one season to the next.
Season 13 Fixture Template in USA Time
Once the full schedule is out on our PKL schedule 2026 page, matches will be converted like this.

Reported Opening Weekend in US Eastern Time
Reports in August 2026 suggested that Season 13 could begin on December 25, 26 or 27, 2026. Those dates are not confirmed. If the league does open in that window and keeps Season 12’s slots, these would be the local start times.
| Reported date | Slot (IST) | US Eastern (EST) |
|---|---|---|
| Friday, December 25, 2026 | 7:30 PM | 9:00 AM |
| Friday, December 25, 2026 | 9:00 PM | 10:30 AM |
| Saturday, December 26, 2026 | 7:30 PM | 9:00 AM |
| Saturday, December 26, 2026 | 9:00 PM | 10:30 AM |
| Sunday, December 27, 2026 | 7:30 PM | 9:00 AM |
| Sunday, December 27, 2026 | 9:00 PM | 10:30 AM |
For North American fans, a December 25 to 27 opening would fall over the Christmas weekend. Morning matches would land at the same time as present-opening and family breakfasts on Christmas Day, but December 26 and 27 are a Saturday and Sunday, so most fans could watch those matches live.
